Best Shows on Netflix 2023

By releasing fresh episodes of the hit series Lupin in October, Netflix is not wasting any time in providing new content to customers. However, the branding is a little perplexing because Netflix refers to it as Lupin Part 3 while it is basically part of the second season. All you truly need to know is that there are seven new Lupin episodes to binge, and its return to best shows on Netflix 2023 is nearly certain.

Super Pumped: The Battle For Uber, a Showtime miniseries that premiered last year, is the second new inclusion this week. However, now that it’s available on Netflix, it’s likely to reach a considerably larger audience than it would on an upscale cable channel.

Do you want to stay up to date on everything new on Netflix? It’s simple if you continue with us because we keep an eye on what’s coming and going. Our weekly overview of the greatest Netflix shows right now is constantly up to date.

List of Best shows on Netflix 2023 – October edition:

Here are some of our picks on best shows on Netflix 2023:

1.Lupin

Lupin, the French crime series, is back on Netflix with new episodes. Assane Diop, a criminal who models his ways on the gentleman thief Arsène Lupin, is played by Omar Sy. While Assane has a great sense of style, he doesn’t always consider how his criminal lifestyle will affect his estranged spouse, Claire (Ludivine Sagnier), and their son, Raoul (Etan Simon).

Assane is eager to see Claire and Raoul in the new episodes. Before he can do so, he must cope with a new adversary who is specifically targeting his family. And the gentleman thief may be out of alternatives this time.

Genre: Crime, Drama
Stars: Omar Sy, Ludivine Sagnier, Clotilde Hesme, Antoine Gouy
Seasons: 2

2.Super Pumped: The Battle for Uber

Uber and other ridesharing applications have become such a big part of our lives that it’s difficult to imagine not having them. However, it did not happen overnight or by chance. Super Pumped: The Battle for Uber, a Showtime documentary, is now available on Netflix. It follows the behind-the-scenes drama of getting Uber off the ground and then keeping control of the firm.

The series stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Travis Kalanick, the initial CEO of Uber, who collaborates with Chief Business Officer Emil Michael (Babak Tafti) as they draw in Bill Gurley (Kyle Chandler) as an important investor. However, neither Michael nor Gurley are thrilled with Kalanick’s practices, and the organization skirts the law in order to continue in business. When Arianna Huffington (Uma Thurman) gets involved with the company, things get even more complicated. The season is narrated by Quentin Tarantino, and it is a crazy experience.

Genre: Drama
Stars: Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Kyle Chandler, Kerry Bishé, Babak Tafti
Seasons: 1

3.Drama

When Max takes over New Amsterdam Medical Center, he implements a variety of improvements that benefit both the doctors and the patients.

Season 5 opens with Max struggling to accept the end of his connection with Dr. Helen Sharpe (Freema Agyeman), while simultaneously working to integrate his new colleague, Dr. Elizabeth Wilder (Sandra Mae Frank). This is the season that will determine Max’s future in medicine and the type of legacy he will leave.

War is the pit of hell, and Band of Brothers never forgets the toll it exacts on the men who battled through the most terrible days of World War II. This epic miniseries is based on the real-life events of Easy Company, one of the army’s Parachute Infantry Regiments during WWII. The story of Easy Company begins in 1942 and progresses through the Normandy invasion and other European conflicts before shifting to the Pacific and a possible campaign in Japan.

Damian Lewis from Billions stars as Major Richard “Dick” Winters, and there are many recognized faces in this drama. But don’t become overly connected to anyone. Not every person in Easy Company will survive to the end of the conflict.

Genre: Drama
Stars: Damian Lewis, Kirk Acevedo, Eion Bailey, Michael Cudlitz, Dale Dye, Rick Gomez, Scott Grimes, Frank John Hughes

5.Dear Child

Dear Child appears to be similar to the film Room at first glance, as Lena (Kim Riedle) flees from captivity with her daughter, Hannah (Naila Schuberth). Lena vanished almost a decade ago, but her biological parents, Matthias (Justus von Dohnányi) and Karin Beck (Julika Jenkins), insist she is not their daughter. Despite this, Hannah is nearly identical to their missing daughter.

Aida Kurt (Haley Louise Jones), a police detective, is tasked with solving the case. Aida discovers that there was actually much more to Lena’s kidnapping than she could have imagined, and she may be capable to prevent past from repeating itself.

Unfortunately for Erin, this implies that people will be asking her some very unpleasant concerns about how she could possibly accomplish any of that. Erin’s daughter, Harper (Indica Watson), and husband, Jordi (Sean Teale), are also curious about her mother’s background.

Worryingly, the surviving robber appears to recognize Erin from a previous existence. And now that Erin has revealed her concealed skill set, she can no longer hide in plain sight.

7.Painkiller

The parallels between Netflix’s Painkiller and Hulu’s Dopesick are due to the fact that they basically tell the same story. Painkiller is a depiction of the emergence of OxyContin and the accompanying opioid crisis, which continues to grip the United States. Uzo Aduba plays Edie Flowers, a U.S. Attorney tasked with bringing down Purdue CEO Richard Sackler (Matthew Broderick), one of the persons primarily responsible for this debacle.

Broderick’s portrayal is especially noteworthy since he depicts Sackler as a man devoid of humanity. He simply does not give a damn about anyone else. However, audiences may become engrossed in the stories of addicts such as Glen Kryger (Taylor Kitsch) and real-life testimonies of families who have lost somebody to opioids.

Genre: Drama
Stars: Uzo Aduba, Matthew Broderick, Sam Anderson, Taylor Kitsch, Carolina Bartczak
Seasons: 1

In the initial season of Heartstopper, Charlie Spring (Joe Locke) was captivated to his fellow student, the likable and athletic Nick Nelson (Kit Connor), despite all apparent signs that Nick was gay. But it comes out that Charlie’s intuition was correct all along.

Season 2 begins with Charlie and Nick in a relationship, despite the latter’s difficulties in coming out to his friends and teammates. More difficulties await the pair as a result of the poisonous people that remain in their lives.
