However, in this incarnation, he became the heir of a wealthy businessman while working as a scam artist. It all started in Spain when he saw Shim Cheong (a mermaid from Korean legend).
As this mermaid attempts to adjust to an unfamiliar way of life on land while living with Joon-jae, a loving bond blossoms, and they must once again fight the fate that tore them apart in their previous lifetimes.

In this Romance Kdrama, Na Hee Do competes on her high school’s fencing team. The high school fencing team is disbanded due to the South Korean financial crisis. After overcoming all obstacles, she is selected for the national fencing squad.
The South Korean economic depression also leads to the bankruptcy of Baek Yi Jin’s father’s firm. This causes Baek Yi Jin’s life to transform from that of a wealthy person to that of an impoverished person. He pursues part-time jobs such as newspaper delivery while studying. Later, he worked as a sports reporter for a television network.
